SUKKUR: According to Ghulam Nabi Memon, Inspector General of Sindh Police, Chinese nationals are given priority security wherever they operate in the province.
He said that police were cracking down on anti-social elements and executing targeted operations against criminals.
When he visited Sukkur on Sunday, he was addressing the media.
Numerous criminals and their enablers have been found guilty, according to the IGP.
In response to a query, he stated that no police officer was encouraging criminal activity and that any who were caught doing so would undoubtedly be subject to departmental discipline.
The newly constructed “Abad police station” in the New Taluka area was officially opened by the provincial police head.
He engaged with the staff and looked over different areas. He provided them with the guidance they needed to conduct efficient and well-coordinated police.

According to the IGP, the goal was to provide police with up-to-date equipment, respond quickly to citizen concerns, and make policing genuinely helpful and approachable.
In order to meet greater standards, he said, other Sukkur police stations would also be renovated and outfitted with cutting-edge equipment and methods.
The IGP communicated with the on-duty Eagle Squad officers and gave them the directives they needed.
Law and order
During a news conference, IGP Memon stated that police operations against criminals were being carried out in various locations using various tactics.
Although there was certainly opportunity for development, he noted that law and order was better now than it had been in the past.
He pointed out that the Larkana and Sukkur police were abiding by the rules as set forth by the police department and provincial government.
The Sindh government was giving the police agency all the necessary facilities.
He asserted that the number of kidnapping-for-ransom cases had decreased in comparison to data from prior years.
He emphasized that there had only been one such incidence in Karachi during the previous year, and the suspect was apprehended by the police in less than a day.
He said that Rangers were assisting Sindh police in their activities.
In response to a query, the IGP stated that it was difficult for police to apprehend the main suspect in the murder case of journalist Jan Mohammad Mahar. He noted that while other suspects in the case have been imprisoned, he was not yet able to be apprehended.
The police chief of Sindh declared that the department was hiring 27,000 more officers.
