QUETTA: On Tuesday, Quetta’s civil society members staged a demonstration to denounce the attack on a Chinese convoy in Karachi, close to the airport.
The demonstrators marched along Adalat Road under the leadership of Allaudin Khilji and Babar Khajak. They called out against the assailants and in favor of Chinese citizens.
Speakers at the rally’s conclusion in front of the Quetta Press Club sharply denounced the attack and linked it to anti-national forces purportedly supported by India.
They reiterated their support for Pakistan-China relations, which they deemed to be excellent, and emphasized that the people of Balochistan want to peace and development.
The speakers emphasized that no plot could jeopardize China’s and Pakistan’s alliance. They conveyed optimism that Balochistan and Pakistan will both keep developing.
