Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, Condemns India’s Ruthless And Militaristic policies Regarding The Kashmir Dispute.

Paris, (PR) : Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Forum France, Member of the Central Working Committee of PML-N, and former Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir for Europe, Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, strongly condemned India’s ruthless and militaristic policies regarding the Kashmir dispute.Speaking to the media, he stated that the peace-loving people of occupied Jammu & Kashmir are facing severe political injustice and resistance in their rightful struggle for self-determination. He refuted the claims made by India’s Home Minister, Amit Shah, regarding the situation in Kashmir, calling them false and misleading.He emphasized that after the revocation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, the Modi government deployed 1 million Indian troops in the occupied region, which is a blatant violation of human rights. The Indian forces continue to commit extrajudicial killings, unlawful detentions, raids, cordons, and search operations.
Referring to recent events, he highlighted the killings of two Kashmiris in Baramulla and Kathua districts as clear examples of ongoing human rights violations. He further revealed that since August 5, 2019, at least 966 Kashmiris have been martyred, while 25,628 have been arrested, many of whom have been booked under draconian laws. These statistics expose the false narrative of normalcy that Amit Shah and the BJP government are trying to portray.He concluded by stating that the situation in occupied Jammu & Kashmir is worsening daily, with increasing hardships for the local population. The BJP-led Indian government is attempting to mislead the international community with fabricated narratives, but India cannot hide the bitter reality of its occupation in Kashmir.
