SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: On Tuesday morning, an FC check post in tehsil Birmal in the South Waziristan district was attacked by unidentified armed men, resulting in the martyrdom of one soldier and the injuries of another.
Lance Naik Numan was killed, according to officials, and Havaldar Nabiullah was hurt during the gunfight with the assailants. “The FC personnel’s retaliatory action repulsed the attack,” they declared.
In the meantime, on Monday in the Birmal neighborhood of Landi Doag, two people were slain by unknown armed individuals in a car. Once they had committed the act, the attackers were able to get away.
