Smartphone giant Samsung will officially unveil its latest flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 8 on Wednesday, August 23, the company confirmed in an official tweet.
Samsung sent out invites for its Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event where the company will showcase its upcoming smartphone after a year hiatus. The invite features a familiar bezel-less display outline that we saw on the Galaxy S8 and rumour turnout to be true, a larger display than the S line.
The next Note device will also retain its trademark S Pen stylus and expected to pack all of the latest feature we saw on the Galaxy S8, including the retina scanner and facial recognition.
Recent Note 8 rumors also point to the first dual lens camera on a flagship Samsung phone, giving the company’s already stellar smartphone camera a nifty new feature.
Much is on the line for the South Korean manufacturer as it tries to bring back the Note line after last year’s edition literally went up in flames.
