A spokesman said that the creation of Pakistan has proven to be a great blessing for the Muslims and “we should thank Almighty Allah for that”.
Hurriyat (G) on Tuesday termed Pakistan as “centre of hope” of Muslim Ummah and said that the country was a great blessing for Muslims.
While greeting the Pakistan government, Pakistan Army and the people of Pakistan on the Pakistan Resolution Day, a spokeman said that the country has a political importance in the Muslim world and this country is centre of hope not only for the Sub-continent but for the whole Muslim Ummah.
He said that the creation of Pakistan has proven to be a great blessing for the Muslims and “we should thank Almighty Allah for that”.
He said that the “blessing day” of 23 March is such an important day when a resolution was passed for creation of separate nation for the Muslims some 75 years back.
“It was the time when this kind of thinking was considered as impossible and the fanatic communal forces were harshly opposing this move but the determination of the leadership of Qaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and the Muslims made this impossible act as possible and practicable,” said the spokesman.
Pakista, he added, has been established on the basis of ideology instead of geography.
“The fanatic politics of the communal forces of India, their sick mentality and the miserable condition of the Indian Muslims are the living proofs that the demand for creation of Pakistan was a right decision and if it could not had happened, the condition of the Muslims of the Sub-continent would had been more worse and the majority community would had overlapped them.”
He said the existence of Pakistan gives a sense of security to the Indian Muslims.
“… and if they would not express this by saying that but they consider this country as their benefactor.”
While expressing its best wishes for the stability, development and prosperity of Pakistan, the spokesman said that this country is facing numerous challenges on its internal and external fronts.
“But we hope that this country will soon overcome these crises and this nation will play a leadership role in the Muslim world.”
He said that the whole Kashmiri nation loves the Islamic Republic of Pakistan because this is the only Muslim country in the world which openly supports the right to self determination of Kashmiris and helps them on political, diplomatic and moral levels.
The spokesman said that a Hurriyat delegation led by pro-freedom leader Syed Ali Geelani will participate in the 23rd March function at the Pakistan High Commission at New Delhi which has been called to celebrate the Pakistan Resolution Day.
