ISLAMABAD: Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja took oath as the new Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on Monday.
President Mamnoon Hussain administered oath to Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja at a ceremony that was also attended by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Raheel Sharif among others.
Justice Khawaja, who succeeds Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, will remain in the office just for 24 days.
