Friday, May 08, 2015 – Karachi—Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Parliamentary Leader in the Senate of Pakistan Senator Saeed Ghani said the ongoing visit of the former President of Pakistan and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari would provide a strong base for deep and bilateral friendly relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
In a statement issued from the PPP Media Cell Sindh Thursday, he said Asif Ali Zardari had in his time as the President of Pakistan played dynamic role for promoting friendly relations with the countries of the region especially China, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Iran and Afghanistan, which was true manifest of his vision.
They said the visit of the former President as PPP Co-Chairman would cement bilateral relations between the two countries as his visit now would leave a strong message for the government and people of Afghanistan that not only the governmentpolitical leadership and the people of Pakistan were for a prosperous and developed Afghanistan.
