KARACHI: Younis Khan has broken yet another record of the great Javed Miandad to become Pakistan’s leading player in spending the most time on crease in tests on Saturday.
After spending 52 and 194 minutes in Abu Dhabi Test respectively, his career time on wicket is now 23,686 minutes, surpassing Miandad’s record of 23,568 minutes.
India’s Rahul Dravid is the leading international player, who had spent the most time on the wicket with collective duration of more than 44,000 minutes in the middle.
On Tuesday, Younis became Pakistan’s all-time leading Test run-scorer, surpassing Miandad’s tally of 8,832 runs on the opening day of the first Test against England.
