SIALKOT: Condemning deadly terrorist attacks in Paris that killed at least 129 people, Pakistan’s federal minister for defence and water & power Khawaja Asif on Sunday said the world must unite and put aside private interests to win the war against terrorism.
he said the Paris incident was deplorable, adding that Pakistan has gone through similar ordeals on several occasions.
Asif said the whole world was fighting the war against terrorists but Pakistan leading it from the front.
“Paradigms set during the Operation Zarb-e-Azb by Pakistan are exemplary for the whole world,” he remarked.
“In order to win this war the world needs to put aside religious, ethnic and national interests and must unite to fight the common enemy.”
