KARACHI: According to the Pakistan-Japan Business Forum (PJBF), a quick and focused effort is needed to boost the export of goods and services in order to address the nation’s current economic problems.
PJBF Chairman Murtaza Y. Mandviwalla addressed a seminar on Wednesday, stating that the goal of the session was to examine and discover possible non-traditional export opportunities as well as talk about how competitive Pakistan exports its traditional goods and services to Japan.
An international magazine called Trading Economics claims that in 2023, Pakistan sold 84 goods to Japan. “Japan is eager to collaborate with Pakistan in the information and communication technologies (ICT) space and is actively looking to hire IT specialists to work in Japan,” Mr. Mandviwalla stated.
He expressed confidence that the seminar’s results will lead to better cooperation and the promotion of Pakistani goods and services, as well as an increased awareness and understanding of the Japanese market and the discovery of new opportunities.
