Angela Kearney says basic health initiatives and improvement in hygiene conditions will certainly bring down child mortality rate.
United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund has appreciated Pakistan government for improvement of health and education facilities for children in the country.
UNICEF Representative in Pakistan Angela Kearney in an interview with News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan on Tuesday said that immunization and vaccination situation has significantly improved during the last few years.
She said basic health initiatives and improvement in hygiene conditions will certainly bring down child mortality rate. She stressed the need for the implementation of law to control early marriages.
