ISLAMABAD: In order to examine the next federal budget, which is anticipated to be presented before the National Assembly tomorrow (Wednesday), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened a meeting of the federal cabinet for today (Tuesday).
The PM will also get a chance to reassure his assistants about choices he made on his most recent trip to China at the meeting, according to a Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) source.
Furthermore, on Tuesday afternoon, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will introduce the Economic Survey 2023–24, which summarizes the nation’s economic achievements over the previous 12 months.
In a separate meeting with Prince Rahim Aga Khan, the Prime Minister extended an invitation to the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) to augment its financial commitment to Pakistan’s tourism industry.
Prince Rahim was likewise congratulated by the prime minister for winning the Nishan-i-Pakistan Award. He thanked him for starting a number of social welfare initiatives in rural and underdeveloped parts of Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan.
He praised the establishment of numerous humanitarian programs in Pakistan’s fields of IT, tourism, agriculture, health, and education. In addition, he praised the recently opened software technology park and the solar power plants in Hunza.
