LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Monday that tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy, which will feature the top eight cricketing nations, will go on sale starting on Tuesday.
From February 19 to March 9, all of the event’s matches will take place in Pakistan’s Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi cities, with the exception of the India matches, which will take place in Dubai.
The prices for tickets to Dubai’s matches, one semi-final, and the final have not yet been determined, despite the PCB having released the costs of the group-stage matches that would take place in Pakistan.
“On Tuesday, January 28 at 13:00 Gulf Standard Time (GST) / 14:00 Pakistan Standard Time (PST), tickets for the group-stage matches and the second semi-final to be held in Pakistan will go on general sale,” a PCB statement announced on Monday.
“ICC Family members will have first dibs on tickets, with a two-hour priority window that is currently available.
“Ticket prices for the general stand will start at PKR 1,000, while more premium seating in other categories, including for the ten matches held in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, would start at PKR 1,500. The PCB announcement also stated that physical tickets will be on sale starting on February 3 at specific TCS Express locations throughout Pakistan; specifics will be revealed later.
“Ticket details for the India games scheduled for February 20 and 23 and March 2 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will be released soon.
“Tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy Final, which is scheduled for Sunday, March 9, will be on sale after the first semi-final in Dubai is over,” it added.
The world’s best teams will compete in 15 fierce matches over 19 days throughout the exciting two-week event, with every match mattering for the coveted white jackets.
ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya commented on the Champions Trophy, saying: “We are excited to announce the official ticket on-sale for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.” Pakistan is holding its first international cricket competition since 1996, making it a momentous occasion for the sport.
