QUETTA: During a gunfight with a suspected criminal group that was allegedly involved in terrorism on Wednesday in the Pishin district, a Levies Risaldar was martyred and three other troops suffered critical injuries.
Following the fire incident, security personnel conducted an operation, recovering stolen goods including motorbikes and illicit weapons, and apprehending twenty individuals, including proclaimed felons.
Four Levies officials were hurt in an altercation between suspects and Levies Force members in the Killi Manzari neighborhood of Pishin, according to officials.
They said that shortly after learning of the fire exchange, Levies Force raced to the scene and took the injured to the district hospital in Pishin, where one of the Levies officials passed away while undergoing treatment, and took the other three to the Civil Hospital in Quetta.
Deputy Commissioner Pishin Capt (retd) Jumma Dad Mandokhail stated, “Levies Force arrested 24 suspected criminals who were also involved in terrorist activities.” She went on to say that the declared offenders were connected to horrible atrocities.
Musa Jan, Bilal Khan, and Zahoor Agha were injured in the gunfight, however Hameedullah Tareen was the Levies officer who was killed.
