NEW YORK – Pakistan Friday warned that those sabotaging Pak-Afghan ties are not friends of Afghanistan.
At U.N Security Council during a debate, Ambassador, Maleeha Lodhi said the security situation in Afghanistan had deteriorated significantly and Pakistan condemned all terrorist violence there.
She reaffirmed Pakistan’s readiness to assist reconciliation process in Afghanistan, however, efforts to encourage Taliban leaders to revive the dialogue should not be misconstrued.
Pakistan envoy said peace in Afghanistan, and cooperation with Kabul, would enable the two countries to fully defeat their common threat from violent groups and pave the way for regional development and integration
