KARACHI: Governor Jameel Ahmed of the State Bank of Pakistan officially opened the main branch of Habib Exchange Company on Tuesday, according to a statement released by Bank Al Habib (BAHL).
Ten branches of the Habib Exchange Company have opened for business in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar, according to a news statement from the bank. The exchange company has a Rs1 billion authorized capital and is a BAHL subsidiary.
The initiative, which intends to meet the legitimate foreign exchange demands of its customers, was adopted in accordance with the central bank’s structural adjustments within the exchange companies’ sector.
