Sindh prohibits aerial firing, and on February 28, police reported that they had detained two college students for their alleged involvement in aerial firing on Seaview.
According to what they had stated, at around ten in the morning, students from several educational institutions congregated in DHA Phase VIII, where some of them engaged in aerial firing with automatic weapons.
According to the authorities, it is strictly forbidden to flaunt firearms or fire from the air. The students’ use of fire had caused panic and dread in the crowd.
