The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that parts of Punjab will experience rain from Monday.
The weather department officials stated that a monsoon system will enter Pakistan on Monday evening, after which rain is expected.
“The chances of monsoon rains have reduced,” Chief Meteorologist Mohammad Riaz said.
Punjab has been experiencing hot, sunny weather. The Met department, in its weather report, said that hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country on Monday.
However, thundershowers couple with rain and gusty winds are expected in isolated places in Rawalpindi, Hazara, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Kohat, Sargodha, Islamabad and Kashmir.
