KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah late on Monday ordered the concerned authorities to block the whole city to recover the son of Sindh High Court’s Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, who has gone missing since the afternoon.
CJ SHC’s son Owais Ali Shah went for shopping at a shopping mall in Clifton earlier in the day, and has not been heard from since. His car has however been recovered from outside the shopping mall.
The chief minister has ordered to set up check points across the city to keep all movement at check. He has asked the officials to leave no stones unturned in searching for the missing.
Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has also taken notice of the disappearance and ordered the officials concerned to utilise all resources in recovering Owais Ali Shah.
According to eye witnesses’ accounts, Owais was taken away by men in white shalwar qameez. They said he resisted kidnapping and fought with the alleged abductors.
Forensic experts are inspecting the recovered car of Owais Ali Shah for likely finger prints of the abductors.
