Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has extended an offer to Javed Afridi for a three-match series between their cricket franchises.
In an article by senior journslist Abdul Majid Bhatti, Khan who owns the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders congratulated Javed Afridi who is the owner of Peshawar Zalmi on winning the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Shah Rukh Khan has offered for the two teams to play the series at a neutral venue which would either be London or Dubai.
According to the report, Afridi said Shah Rukh Khan had called him asking to convince the Pakistani government of the series while he would convince the Indian government.
Afridi added that following the Zalmi’s victory, he had received congratulatory messages from Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Sanjay Kapoor, Gulshan Grover and Shah Rukh Khan.
