ISLAMABAD: Holiday-makers in a large number, on third day of Eid, rushed to recreational and hill stations for amusement but ended up engaging in a fierce fight, thrashing and brawling each other.
A severe traffic jam has been reported on Murree road including thousands of vehicles stranded in miles-long queues, reported a private news channel.
The tourists in this way faced extreme difficulties reaching their desired destination.
A total of 7000 cars had reached Murree while only the very hill station has a capacity of 3100 vehicles to get parked. It was to be believed that, by the time, the number of these cars could increase to 12000.
The local government and police had suggested people not visit Murree for a time being
