KHYBER AGENCY (Dunya News) – The targeted operation against terrorists belonging to banned outfit Jamaat-ul-Ahrar has continued in Khyber and Mohmand Agency as officers of Pakistan Army have killed several militants and destroyed their hideouts.
According to details, training compound of deputy commander Adil Bacha and his four shelter places have been completely demolished.
On the other hand, at least 86 suspicious people were taken into custody during separate raids in various parts of the country.
Police officers have nabbed as many as 17 people from Karachi’s Baldia Town. The detainees have been shifted to the police station for further investigation.
Separately, as many as 69 suspects including 39 foreigners were arrested in Pashin, Abbottabad and Sialkot whereas huge cache of weapons has also been confiscated from their possession.
In Pattoki, police have apprehended 30 people including 10 Afghans however, biometric verification of 500 people was also carried out.
Meanwhile, a terrorist having Rs10 lac head money along with two others was killed in security forces action in Dera Ismail Khan.
On the other hand, Pakistan Army has directed the general masses to give information about any untoward activity by calling on 1135 whereas people living in FATA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) can use 1125 helpline.
