KARACHI: Second liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipment is set to enter Port Qasim’s economic zone today, Engro Elengy Terminal said in a statement on Tuesday.
The shipment is procured by Gunvor, it said.
Under the recently signed agreement between Pakistan and Qatar for the import of LNG, four LNG ships would come to Port Qasim in March. First ship anchored at Port Qasim on March 1. Of these four ships, one shipment is from Gunvor and the rest from Qatar.
The third and fourth LNG vessels will arrive in third and fourth weeks of this month.
The Q-Flex ship coming today would carry 140,000 cubic metres of LNG.
