TAIPEI, Taiwan — A saturated market in China and the absence of new partnership with cellphone carriers are likely to hurt the sales of new iPhones, DIGITIMES Research forecast.
The research company predicted a shipment ranging from 80 to 85 million for iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in the remainder of 2015. Following the tradition of earlier iPhone generations, there is no change in the appearance on the S model. The difference is in the upgraded hardware inside. The 3D Touch is the main standout feature in the 6S model, DIGITIMES said.
