Retired joint chief of staff Gen Khalid Shamim Wynne passed away in a road accident on the Islamabad-Lahore motorway, DawnNewsreported on Saturday.
The accident occurred when Gen Wynne’s car toppled over as its tyre blew out.
Gen Wynne’s son, a close friend and the driver are said to be in critical condition.
