KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Wednesday claimed to have killed three hardcore terrorists belonging to South Waziristan, allegedly responsible for killing more than 50 Pakistani soldiers.
According to a statement, the paramilitary force conducted an intelligence-based operation against militants in the suburbs of Manghopir.
As the force entered the area, terrorists resorted to indiscriminate firing. In retaliation, three militants were killed.
Reports suggest the terrorists were involved in the killing of at least 50 soldiers.
They were also involved in missile attack on Cadet College, Razmak as well as a dozen killings of cops in Karachi, among other crimes such as extortion, said the Rangers spokesperson.
Weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the possession of terrorists.
