ISLAMABAD: Rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while hot and dry weather to continue in other parts of the country in next 24 hours.
A westerly wave is present over upper parts of the country, an official of Met office told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was Punjab: Joharabad 04mm and Toba Tek Singh 1mm.
Highest temperatures recorded on Sunday were Turbat 42øC, Shaheed Benazirabad 41øC, Hyderabad, Pasni, Lasbela, Hyderabad 40øC, Multan 36øC, Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad 35øC, Peshawar 34øC, Islamabad 33øC, Dir, Muzaffarabad 30øC, Chitral 28øC, Quetta, Gilgit 25øC, Murree 22øC, Hunza, Skardu 20øC and Kalat 21øC. –APP
