ISLAMABAD: In the midst of speculation that attempts are being made to include Maulana Fazlur Rehman in the coalition government, Asad Qaiser, the former speaker of the National Assembly, visited the chief of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl in Islamabad and stated that they had a discussion about forming a political committee to settle disputes with JUI-F.
Following the JUI-F chief’s meeting, Mr. Qaiser told the media that he had given Maulana Fazl five candidates to be on the committee.
He said that the committee will begin working to fix concerns after it is constituted, and that the names will be finalized at JUI-F’s meeting on June 29.
According to Mr. Qaiser, the two parties would do everything within their power to uphold the supremacy of the Constitution in the nation and want the rule of law.
In response to a query, Mr. Qaisar stated that the agreement on committee formation was a major advancement and that the conversation with Maulana Fazl was productive.
Additionally, he stated that both parties planned to create a united opposition in the legislature.
Additionally, he stated that the parliament needed to be briefed on the Azm-i-Istehkam Operation, emphasizing that the defence minister had a responsibility to provide clarification and specifics on the operation.
He said that the PTI will not back any new military action and asserted that Maulana Fazl had also voiced doubts about backing any military action.
According to him, the two leaders conveyed their worries over the nation’s declining state of law and order, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to him, political leaders and parties have a responsibility to maintain national harmony.
According to the leader of PTI, the leader of JUI-F concurred that positive relations with Afghanistan were necessary, and that economic corridors should be built at the areas where the two nations intersect to provide job opportunities for citizens of both nations.
