Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL) has announced its Gaming Lounge platform – Pakistan’s first multiplayer gaming service – to bringing local gaming community come closer.
The service is available for everyone as it was launched on December 19,20 at Centaurus Mall, Islamabad.
As stated the company, this game experience will be unparalleled owing to its better speeds and lessen latency. The company’s service aims completely for PC gamers who wish to have lag-free gaming experience when they team up with friends or compete with other players of the internet.
Initially, the games which are a part of the service include: Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, Battlefield 3, Medal of Honour: Allied Assault, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Multiplayer, Call of Duty 1, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Counter Strike Global Offensive.
To get started your gaming experience with PTCL’s Lounge, you need to get registered on this link. You need to install the game client software on your PC to get access to the servers.
Needless to say that since it is a PTCL Lounge, you must have a working telephone line as well as subscription to any high-speed broadband packages.
However, the service is currently available for everyone but after March 31, 2016, users will be asked for extra charges if they want to keep enjoying the service. It will be announced later on that how much chargers to be sought from the users.
