Kiran Khan is one of the first Pakistani female swimmers that have represented the country at the international forum.
She caught the attention for the first time in 2001 National Games, where she claimed 7 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals, and 3 Bronze Medals. The more notable fact is that she was the youngest competitor at that time.
Her jaw-dropping performance at such a young age earned her the title of the Golden Girl of the millennium.
Kiran Khan made her international debut in 2002 and won a Gold Medal for her country, five years later, she defeated an Indian opponent to earn another top prize, which she called the best moments of her career.
She participated in the 31st National Games in 2010 where she created history by winning 12 individual and three team Gold Medals.
At an age of just 19 years in 2012, she was awarded a Pride of Performance award from the government of Pakistan.
All in all, Kiran Khan has won 327 medals in national tournaments, whereas, she has made Pakistan proud by winning 47 international medals in different events of swimming.
