KARACHI: Police claimed to have killed two terrorists involved in the killings of 50 persons, including cops and Rangers personnel, in Manghopir area of the metropolitan city
According to police, they conducted a targeted operation near Northern Bypass after receiving a tip that terrorists’ are hiding in the area.
The police claimed the militants opened fire on the personnel after which they retaliated and shot dead two terrorists.
They said the terrorists were affiliated with a banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Swati group.
One of the deceased is identified as Rehmatullah, the police added.
