KARACHI: In a series of raids early on Sunday, police arrested eight suspects including a woman and Lyari gang war member from different areas of Karachi.
In Dalmia, police in a search operation arrested Lyari gangwar member identified as Moosa. Meanwhile, police also detained 15 suspects for interrogation and shifted them to an unknown place.
According to police, in a raid in Gulshan-i-Iqbal’s Azam Goth, police arrested four suspects including a woman. The suspects were wanted in several cases related to criminal activities.
In Boat Basin, police conducted a search operation and took into custody three suspects allegedly involved in street crimes.
Near Ansari bridge on Super Highway, a collision between two vehicles left three people injured. The rescue sources said that the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. In Baldia Town, a car hit a motorcycle which resulted in a man’s death.
