LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday visited a private clinic for a medical checkup in London.
According to family sources, the premier will stay in the clinic under observation for 24 hours.
The prime minister departed for London three days ago for a medical checkup and is scheduled to return to the country on May 26. Reportedly, Kulsoom Nawaz has also accompanied the PM Nawaz.
During his stay in London, the premier is expected to meet influential business personalities.
PM Nawaz had visited London for a few days in the previous month as well for a medical examination.
Before departure to London, the prime minister and Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif held a meeting in Jati Umra. Both leaders discussed the Panama Papers data lead and the prevailing political situation in the country.
