ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif, on Friday called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed matters pertaining to internal and external security, Samaa reported.
According to Samaa correspondent, the two high-up reviewed recent unrest in Afghanistan and its impacts on Pakistan’s internal and external and external security.
At a brief meeting in Islamabad, sources said, the PM and army chief also held a detailed consultation over Pakistan’s role in Afghan peace process.
On the occasion, the PM also apprised COAS of his recent visit to United States and address to United Nations General Assembly.
