ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Sunday strongly protested the unprovoked firing by Indian troops along the Line of Control.
Pakistan’s Director General Military Operations contacted his Indian counterpart on hot line this afternoon and strongly protested the firing by the Indian troops at Nezapir sector targeting Pakistani posts and civilians after midnight which lasted till late morning.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the firing commenced at midnight and continued till 8:30 am.
Indian BSF used all sorts of heavy weapons for the attack.
Pakistani troops responded with retaliatory firing and gave a befitting reply to the opponents.
No casualties or loss of life have been reported so far.
