The incubation center’s establishment was left to Ignite, with Anusha Rahman at its head. According to the ministry’s spokesperson, Saghir Anwar, the proposals for speeding up the process are being scrutinized.
It will be a two-level scrutiny and will consist of shortlisting of all of the companies that will meet the criteria. Moreover, not only the criteria, their financial bids are also to be considered. Most probably, the project will be awarded in start of May.
Apart from this, the company is planning to invite applications from other companies who are interested in the project to establish the three specialized incubation centers. These incubation centers will be the Internet of Things, Fin-Tech, and Robotics. Moreover, all three centers will most likely be set up in Islamabad.
The purpose of these incubation center is to provide proper guidelines for their students and give them job opportunities. No doubt, these centers will play a vital role in developing the ICT skills. The ultimate goal here is to create a better future for the young students and give them as many opportunities as possible.
