LAHORE: Team green departed for Colombo to play a three match test series against the Lankan Lion, Aaj News Reported.
Misbah Ul Haq along with 15 other players and Pakistan cricket board officials departed for Colombo, Sri Lanka from the Lahore airport.
Waqar Younis, Head Coach of Pakistani Team was addressing the media before their departure where he said that the team is in high spirits to perform well in the series. He blamed injuries for the bad performance of fast bowlers.
Adding to this Younis said that the lack of fast bowlers is due to the absence of international cricket from Pakistan.
There is no attitude problem with any player, he said.
Team green will start their tour from June 11 with a practice match. While the first official test match will be played on June 17 at Galle.
