RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani has reiterated Pakistan Army’s resolve to meet all future challenges squarely.
Addressing the participants at the concluding session of the Army War Games (Exercise AZM-E-NAU 4), which commenced at the National Defence University, Islamabad on 3 June 2013, he said that the Army in coordination with the Navy and PAF was fully configured and prepared to thwart any military aggression against the country.
He also added that the military success depended on being fully prepared, support of the people of Pakistan and other state institutions.
Chief of Army Staff also appreciated the dedication and commitment of all the participants of the War Game whose contributions during the War Game were of immense professional value.
Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafiq Butt also attended the concluding session of the Army War Games.
During the War Game, spanning over two weeks, strategic and operational plans were crystallized and validated for developing a comprehensive response.
Operational plans of Pakistan Air Force were also finalized in close coordination with the Army.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said this War Game was the culmination of series of such exercises, which have cumulatively contributed towards operational preparedness to meet the evolving threat
