SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: On Tuesday night, one person was killed and three others were injured in a purported drone assault in the Konrai Raghzai region of Sararogha Tehsil in the Upper South Waziristan province.
The drone attack was verified by local sources, who named the deceased as Saifullah Mehsud. Murtaza, Hameed Khan, and Abid were recognized as the injured parties.
The drone strike was not, however, formally confirmed. For medical attention, the injured were brought to a hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.
When reached, Saleem Jan, the deputy commissioner for Upper South Waziristan, stated that four individuals were hurt in a bomb explosion. Following the explosion, he said, an investigation was being conducted.
