The three one-day worldwide (ODI) matches that were essential for the Green Shirts’ arranged visit through Sri Lanka have been rejected, it arose on Monday.
Pakistan was initially scheduled to play two Tests and three ODIs when the men’s group are to visit Sri Lanka in July.
In any case, a representative for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) affirmed to Dawn.com that the ODIs had been rejected in line with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC)
He said that SLC had mentioned the board to drop the three ODIs so they could start the Lanka Premier League (LPL) prior.
“The ODIs are not piece of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League and SLC is confronting monetary difficulties, so the PCB acknowledged the solicitation,” the PCB official said.
He proceeded to say that the agenda for the two Test matches was being worked out yet said they would be played in the settled upon window (July 5 to August 9).
