ISLAMABAD – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to expedite the investigation into mega-corruption cases.
Chairing a high-level meeting in Islamabad, the interior minister said mega cases would be brought to logical conclusion and justice would be done in each case. The meeting also decided to announce policy for international non-governmental organisations (INGOs) after Eid ul Fitr.
The meeting reviewed the law and order situation in federal capital, online registration of INGOs, Exit Control List (ECL) and issues relating to issuance of computerised national identity cards and passports. Nisar also directed DG Passport to ensure home delivery of newly issued passports from August in order to facilitate people.
