Mumbai Attacks from 2008 to 2013

The Pakistan government, however, has everything to be blamed for; it is by no means free of a similar crime against its people. Five years of democratic rule coincide with the five years of the Mumbai Attacks and the imprisonment of the seven men including Lakhvi. Lakhvi is a Kashmiri and a leader of his people; by holding him in a crude trial which cannot be taken further, we are buying the resentment of our Kashmiri brethren. Our democratically elected governments have as yet failed to win back the lost dignity and sense of justice that come with putting trials of such international nature in the limbo. What obstructs them from completing the due process of justice? Do the people of Pakistan ask for a lie to satisfy their collective conscience? No! They want plain truth, and true justice. They want their dignity and their heads held high. They want the glut of terrorism and the shame of the drones to end. They do not want their government to pursue a policy of compliance for ‘aid’ when they are ready and active to earn their own bread. They want to be independent, sovereign and self-made, and they want their government to give a shut-up call to all those who greed to interfere in their matters, and we can do this! We can change our status in the community of nations by a simple first step that time has provided us, i.e., #Justice4Lakhvi!
