PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Monday dismissed the bail petition of a man arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on the charge of hacking a married woman’s FacebookACCOUNT and uploading objectionable material on it.
Justice Roohul Amin Khan of a single-member bench observed that suspect Rizwanul Haq, a resident of Bhara Kahu, Islamabad, didn’t deserve to be freed on bail as he was involved in a heinous crime.
Lawyer FM Sabir and inspector Adnan Khan appeared for the FIA and said the suspect had ruined the life of a Nowshera woman, mother of two, as his unlawful and unethical acts led to her divorce.

The lawyer said the woman was divorced by her husband due to the illegal and unethical acts of the suspect and that the suspect continued with those acts toDEFAME
He added that finally, the woman filed a complaint with FIA, which charged the suspect under sections 36 and 37 of the Electronic Transaction Act and Section 30 of the Telegraph Act. The lawyer for the suspect claimed his client was falsely implicated in the case and that there was no evidence available to show that his client was involved in the hacking of the woman’s FacebookACCOUNT
