QUETTA: An explosion has hit the provincial capital’s University Chowk area. A policeman has been killed in the explosion with several people reported injured, said DawnNews.

It was a high intensity explosion, nature of the blast is yet unknown.
Emergency services have been dispatched to the area. Injured are being shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta.
