Srinagar: Amid raging controversy over the Jawaharlal Lal Nehru University (JNU) Students Union holding a pro-Afzal Guru event on his third hanging anniversary, the prestigious JNU campus has been hit by another controversy.
Now a JNU professor in a video says India has illegally occupied Kashmir.
Professor Nivedita Menon is heard saying in the video that “Whole world believes that India is illegally occupying Kashmir”. She went on saying that freedom (Azadi) is a legitimate slogan. She asks the gathering that they should try to understand how the world treats while referring to India’s occupation in Kashmir.
