Apple announced its latest iOS 11 software update at WWDC 2017 event, stating that the developer beta will be available almost immediately followed by the final version later this year. The company, at that time did not specify what features the beta versions will come along with. Initial reports spoke about the most prominent changes. A new post by 9to5 Mac recently listed out 25 new features in iOS 11 developer beta 2.
If the report is to be believed then iOS 11 developer beta 2 version will consist of the following features:
i) The ability to remove the ‘Recent’ section of Dock on iPads.
ii) Upgraded fly-over features and indoor maps in Apple maps.
iii) The ability to share screenshots directly
iv) An upgraded Do Not Disturb feature under Settings

The iOS 11 will be eligible for: iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It is also likely to debut with the iPhone 8, iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus. Apart from this, the software update will be compatible on: 12.9-inch iPad Pro (1st and 2nd gen), 10.5-inch iPad Pro, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad (5th gen), iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2.
