RAWALPINDI: Due to their involvement in cheating during the annual math exam for the ninth grade, Chaun Syedan Shah and Nurpur in Chakwal examination staff members were suspended by the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) on Monday.
According to BISE Rawalpindi spokesman Arslan Cheema, chairman Muhammad Adnan Khan replaced officials who had been accused of cheating after suspending them.
The examination personnel of the aforementioned centers had also been the subject of a formal complaint. The assistant commissioner in Nurpur apprehended the test officials in the act of solving the mathematics objective paper on the whiteboard.
BISE Chairman Khan visited Government Graduate College Chaun Syedan Shah, Government Boys and Girls Higher Secondary School Basharat, Government Boys and Girls Higher Secondary School Sehgalabad, and Government Boys and Girls High School in Khanpur in relation to the 9th First Annual Examination 2024.

In a statement following the visit, he stated that every district administration kept a daily eye on the testing locations.
Conversely, Division Heads, Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and Additional Deputy Commissioners were instructed by Commissioner Aamir Khattak to attend the examination centers within their purview.
He recommended that the arrangements at the testing locations be examined, as well as the supervisors’ performance. “We can raise the standard of education by guaranteeing examination transparency,” he stated.
He gave the district administration the order to fully assist the school boards in holding fair exams and to act right away in the event that any irregularities were discovered.
He stated, “We hope that every student can walk into the exam room knowing that nobody will be able to cheat and take advantage of their hard work.”
The Chakwal deputy commissioner filed a formal complaint (FIR) against the Government Boys High School Nurpur teachers for allegedly engaging in cheating, as instructed by the commissioner.
An FIR was filed against the superintendent, clerk, supervisor, and other individuals who were “involved in helping students solve the objective paper of mathematics in Room No. 3,” according to the facts.
The commissioner of Rawalpindi ordered that all necessary measures be taken to remove the “cheating mafia” from the testing centers.
The deputy commissioners of Attock, Jhelum, Murree, and Chakwal participated in the meeting held at the Commissioner Office Rawalpindi via video link, while the CEO of Education, the colleges’ director, and Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema attended in person.
