KARACHI: Four armed men are suspected of robbing a truck carrying a load of sacrifice goats in Gulistan-i-Jauhar, police reported on Wednesday.
They claimed that the truck’s driver had stopped the vehicle near Kamran Chowrangi to ask for the address of his destination while it was traveling from Hyderabad to Gulistan-i-Jauhar with 30 goats inside.
Meanwhile, four men on two motorbikes pulled up there, holding the driver at gunpoint while stealing his phone and cash, and then driving off with the truck containing the goats.
The victim, Abdul Manan, informed the media that the stolen sacrificial animals were thought to be worth approximately Rs1.5 million.
