TAXILA: Former provincial minister and district monitoring committee member Jahangir Khanzada declared that the Punjab Chief Minister’s Agriculture Transformation Programme would support up to 3,077 farmers from Hazro.
At a ceremony to distribute Kissan cards to local farmers and peasants in Hazro and surrounding areas, he made these statements. Many farmers, peasants, agriculture officials, and local celebrities attended the celebration, which was organized by the culture department. Cards were given out to 906 local farmers and peasants during the ceremony.
He declared, “Punjab is introducing a farmer package worth 400 billion rupees for the first time.” He went on to say that farmers would have access to agricultural inputs as well as other advantages and facilities via the Kissan card. According to him, increasing agricultural output and ensuring the prosperity of every farmer are the top goals for the Punjabi government. He stated that the Punjab government was implementing new policies for farmer welfare and the advancement of the agricultural industry, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
He continued by saying that the Punjabi government had set aside a sizeable sum of money to support these programs, and that the card was a useful present for farmers all throughout the province.
